Dr. Theodore Lampidis based at the University of Miami’s renowned Miller School of Medicine is a world leading authority on glucose metabolism and its effect on cancerous tumors. The National Cancer Institute has stated in their reviews of his research that “Dr. Lampidis’ work could eventually lead to cures in certain cancers.”

Although his work has been fully funded by National Cancer Institute grants for more than 30 years, due to federal budget cuts, as well as the nature of the drug he is working on (which cannot be patented), a group of volunteers has joined to form the Lampidis Cancer Foundation with the sole purpose of supporting his groundbreaking research.

Please join us at this special event to help keep his pioneering work going so that it can one day benefit cancer sufferers worldwide.

Chef Andrea Chiriatti menu honors the breadth of traditional Authentic Italian cuisineby bringing fresh, wholesome cooking from all regions of Italy and showcases dishes that revolve around fresh local ingredients and precious edible Gold that intend to “WOW” diners and allow them to experience the wealth of his fair, such as his “to-die-for “signature 23 karat GOLD ravioli infused with  a smooth veloute ricotta or the unforgettable creamy Spinach dish crowned of 23 KARATS gold, tasty sides infused with Gold and Pepper’s homemade aromatic oils and finally, Gold and Pepper offers a carefully selected list of over 75 wines from around the world, including a small selection of dessert wines.


While Gold may be the headliner at GOLD AND PEPPER, Everything on the menu will be made in house daily from scratch using the freshest, highest quality ingredients. Chef Andrea presents his  menu which features moderately priced menu items showcasing fresh daily homemade bread, house-made pastas, enticing & refreshing salads from their own produce grown garden, several signature entrees and the most decadent and delectable  desserts certain to tantalize even the most discriminating palate


Between February 2011 and August 2012, Chef Andrea covered the role of second chef for Renzo Neve for the Giorgio Armani S.p.a. and Teatro 7 and has created beautiful, memorable  menus appealing to locals and visitors looking for authentic Italian cuisine with an elegant touch
