Join Local Author and Child Sex Abuse Survivor Julie Marie Mansfield

For Her Catalyst Series and Book signing of Maybe God Was Busy at Books and Books, Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at 6:30pm

(Miami, Fl)-Author and advocate in the war against childhood sex abuse [CSA), Julie Marie Mansfield will be conducting her Catalyst Series/Book signing of her debut book “Maybe God Was Busy,” 6:30pm, Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at Books and Books (265 Aragon Ave, Coral Gables, Fl 33134.) Mansfield’s clear goal is to raise awareness and create a platform to foster a dialogue and healing for those affected by CSA. According to Crimes Against Children Research Center 1 in 5 girls and 1 in 20 boys is a victim of child sexual abuse. As alarming as these numbers are, they could be drastically higher as it is widely accepted that only one out of every 10 cases of CSA is reported. Mansfield is committed to sharing her story and hoping that it will encourage others to come forward with their own. She also hopes that people will see the face and human side of the ravages of CSA as oppose to just the statistics that are given when one speaks about CSA.

Gold and Pepper Italian cuisine garner publicity from Deco Drive

Gold and Pepper Italian Cuisine “Gold menu” is attracting local attention as it evolves from Its “Evolution of authentic Italian specialties” into a delectable locale for blossoming master chef, high-end dining and down-home cooking.

In all actuality, it wasn’t a difficult decision as so many people gave rave reviews about Gold and Pepper Italian cuisine and Master chef Andrea Chiriatti. From the minute we arrived at the door. You knew you’d made the right decision: The Delightful Atmosphere, Wonderful Staff and Incredibly delicious Food fit to please any gastronome

What makes it immediately memorable is the lavish 23 Karat gold added to each dish (upon request, of coarse). Greeted by the owners Fabienne Corliano and Ilaria re themselves, who are warm and effusive you feel like you’ve arrived home for dinner with family. The waiters too are just as lovely. Friendly, smiling and joking,

As of Wednesday June 12,2013, Master chef Andrea Chriatti was declared the winner of the 2nd annual “ Battle of the chefs “, a prestigious food culinary competition sponsored by Lynette Janac of the South Florida Luxury guide. All three of the contenders delivered delicious and beautiful dishes and I think the judges had their work cut out for them. Ultimately, the panel of gastronomic judges selected the standout-winning dish, Gold and Pepper’s Chef Andrea Chiriatti’s FLAN DI VERDURE as the winner based on taste, creativity and overall presentation

The South Florida Luxury guide’s president and owner Lynette Janac said the decision was a tough one, but that chef Andrea Chiriatti’s dish really shined.
