Greeted by the owners Fabienne Corliano and Ilaria re themselves, who are warm and effusive you feel like you’ve arrived home for dinner with family. The waiters too are just as lovely. As of Wednesday June 12,2013, Master chef Andrea Chriatti was declared the winner of the 2nd annual “ Battle of the chefs “, a prestigious food culinary competition sponsored by Lynette Janac of the South Florida Luxury guide. All three of the contenders delivered delicious and beautiful dishes and I think the judges had their work cut out for them. Ultimately, the panel of gastronomic judges selected the standout-winning dish, Gold and Pepper’s Chef Andrea Chiriatti’s FLAN DI VERDURE as the winner based on taste, creativity and overall presentation

The South Florida Luxury guide’s president and owner Lynette Janac said the decision was a tough one, but that chef Andrea Chiriatti’s dish really shined.

In 2010 Saskya won 1st place in the BlackPlanet.com’s online ONE MINUTE TO SHINE contest.  Without any hesitation Saskya donated 100% of her winnings to her family in Haiti which was ravaged by the massive earthquake.

The ribbon cutting featured @Saskyasky singing her rendition of our National anthem and Miami PAL Computer-Reading Program with approximately 150 PAL participants, Miami PAL Police Officers & Youth Counselors.
